About LTBYRNE
Logan at the Pub.

What can I say? That's me at the Pub. That would be Schmidt's Tobacco & Trading at 1492 Solano Avenue in Albany, California. If you want to know more about the place, the San Francisco Chronicle ran a feature on it back in 2018. Some of you who remember me back then can recall I used to show up in a mohair blazer with a fancy tie. My fashion days. Ha! In fact if you click the link to the Chron article and scroll down, I'm in the second to last photo sitting by the bench at the bar wearing my French camel-hair blazer and tie. I'm famous. Anyway, you can usually find me there Wednesday and Saturday nights. Occasionally on other days and times.

If you read this, subscribe at the Patron or Supporter level and show up to meet me, I will gladly buy you a beer.

My travels always lead me back to the Bay. Except for the Pub, I am a bit of a hermit. I have many friends there. Since 2007, most of my professional, friendship, and romantic connections stem from that place. It is special and close to my heart.

Some people might consider it a small corner of reality, and maybe it is, but it's my corner. It might be a small place, but my life there, like my private life in my seven-hundred square-foot home is expansive and vibrant.

I am of the belief that you can be happy wherever you are at, it just takes some imagination, an open heart, and an open mind. Many people live their lives in the wind, rootless, and forever starting over. That is what I am trying to avoid.

Read on if you want to know more about me, how I got here, my philosophy of life. Some of my essays run to ten-thousand words. My writing is deeply personal, raw, yet well-considered. My photography is candid and point-blank. My recordings are layered, detailed and intimate.
